Microsoft 365 Consultant

Location: United Kingdom (Fully remote)

Type: Full-Time

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 DOE

My client is a dedicated Microsoft Cloud partner focused solely on Azure and M365, working with over 300 UK SMB customers who manage their IT in-house. This is not an MSP company - unlike traditional Managed Services Providers (MSPs), they provide expert advice and guidance on Azure and M365 for free in exchange for customers purchasing their Azure consumption and/or M365 licenses from them.

This is a junior to mid-level technical consultant position and the client is looking for candidates who are hungry to improve and learn new skills and have the ability to do so. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous MSP / Microsoft Partner / End-User Organisation experience to become a technical consultant as opposed to working on the helpdesk / focusing on end user support.

Role Requirements:

Certifications: Candidates should possess at least one of the following certifications and be willing to obtain the rest within 12 months (do not apply if you do not have at least one of the 3 stated below):

  • Teams Administrator Associate (MS-700)
  • Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (MS-102)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of IT technical experience, including managing email, mail clients, and end-user devices.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with M365 administration.
  • Intune management experience, with a preference for design and deployment.
  • SharePoint management experience, with a preference for design and deployment.
  • Background working for an MSP, Microsoft Partner, or end-user organization.
  • Any experience with Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents, Copilot for M365, or Copilot Studio is a bonus.

Personal Qualities:

  • Eager to learn new skills.
  • Capable of working independently while being part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-sales: Conduct pre-sales calls from a technical consultant viewpoint to understand prospects' environments and needs, discuss solutions, and explain our value proposition. Follow up with detailed technical emails and calls.
  • Onboarding: Lead technical onboarding calls with new customers, define next steps, and work closely with them.
  • Customer Consulting: Build relationships with customers' IT teams, understand their environments, and help achieve their M365 goals through monthly calls and ongoing support.
  • Project Work: Deliver customer projects, from requirement gathering to handover, including creating Statements of Work and estimates.
  • Internal Projects: Develop internal proof of concepts using new M365 technologies and present these to customers.
  • Certifications: Maintain and obtain Microsoft certifications to demonstrate expertise and support our business accreditations.

Join us to leverage your Microsoft 365 expertise and help our customers achieve their goals with cutting-edge cloud solutions. If you are passionate about Microsoft technologies and enjoy a collaborative yet independent work environment, we would love to hear from you.
