I joined Circle in May 2021 and it feels like I have been here for years! 😂 

I will say my experience so far is that it’s a great company to work for, warm environment where you are able to be yourself and be a big part of the team. I was promoted in January 2022, so I now have the choice of stopping wearing business dress and wearing my own choice of clothes which was definitely a motivator for me! 😂

I was lucky enough to go on the 2021 achiever’s holiday to Paphos (what happens in Paphos…stays in Paphos)!

Also I enjoy winding the United fans here up (I'm an Arsenal fan)

I joined Circle in 2014.  I already had experience in recruitment, but I was looking for something different from an employer.

During my time here I have worked across both permanent and contract, and public and private sectors, gaining lots of valuable training and experience along the way.  My most recent promotion was to head up delivery to Circle's public sector client base, which is a fun, varied role as we supply into most areas of government.

The thing I like best about Circle is that regardless of team or seniority, everyone genuinely wants and encourages each other to do well which is nice!

I joined Circle in Jan 2019 with very minimal recruitment experience and no agency experience. They’ve invested time and money in my future, training me up to a point where I’ve learnt so much in a short space of time, which is exciting.  I was promoted to Senior Resourcer in 2021.

I’ve never worked for an employer like Circle before. They genuinely take measures to ensure you are happy and comfortable and the rewards for performing well are ridiculous; monthly meals, holidays, spa days, gift cards, free days out, little treats after a hard week.

A big difference from other companies though would be I’ve never once felt like I can’t talk to management/Directors if there’s any issues or I’m struggling, and that is priceless.

I joined Circle in 2005, after a slightly bumpy start to my recruitment career with a global recruitment agency. I was at first a little pensive about working for a smaller company, as I wasn’t sure I’d get the support I needed as an intermediate recruiter.

At my interview I presented a short slide show about the market I wanted to tackle (Cyber / Infosec) and had a nice chat with the directors. I left feeling good, and continued to interview with other businesses. The more interviews I attended, I encountered more and more people who didn’t seem to care what I wanted.

16 years later, I’ve realised more potential than It’s possible to tell you.   I earn paycheques I'd never even imagined.   All but one year I’ve been the top biller here.  I've bought and renovated my dream home by the sea, along with several other properties as investments.

I now work from home as much as I want to, surrounded by kittens and Apple devices (paid for by the company) 😂

I joined Circle in 2015 when I was on the brink of leaving recruitment altogether.  

What I have found here has been hard to find anywhere else (and I would know, since I have joined and re-joined Circle a total of four times now 😂). The culture here is fun and rewarding, with lots of nice perks such as meals out, achievers’ holidays, spa-vouchers, prosecco etc. But the thing that has kept me coming back for all of these years has been the supportive nature of the business. When things haven’t been going well for me, the first question I have been asked is “how can we help”?

Circle operates in a very moral manner, putting doing things properly over making money and by doing so they have a fantastic client-base who benefit from excellent customer service, honest and constructive consulting and delivery of candidates who are right for their culture and technical needs.

I would be remiss if I didn’t specifically mention the leadership team at Circle, all of whom I have worked under at some point in my time at Circle. Their consistent commitment to maintaining an open, fun, supportive culture is what makes Circle special. 

This place genuinely feels like home to me, I literally can’t stop coming back!

As I write this in March 2022, I have been here for just 1 week and I already feel like a valued member of the team! Coming from a company where I didn’t feel especially valued, it is a very nice change to already feel like I am appreciated and making a difference.

This is my first time in a recruitment role and already, I am well looked after, from the training sessions headed by the managing director, the regular communications with my direct manager and the team’s constant support.

My favourite thing about Circle so far, is the fact that no matter what someone’s job title is, we all get on as equals and everyone is treated fairly!

I have been with Circle for over 5 years in 2 lovely offices (in both offices you have decent surroundings and views of canals).

I always enjoy my time at Circle because everyone in the office has a good personality and it makes the office funny and interesting. We always get treats (going to great restaurants and bars, free Nandos in the office etc). Every opportunity I have had to go abroad on Achievers Holidays for free food and drink sun over the years, I have always qualified to go, and created superb memories.

I started here as a Resourcer and have now been in 360 recruitment since 2019.  I was promoted within 3 months.  Also I chose not to be furloughed for most of the covid pandemic in 2020 and worked, which was tough but I gained a great client base.  I've had two pay rises in the last 7 months and am now on my way to becoming a Senior Consultant. 

Edit:  June 2022 - I became a Senior Consultant!

I chose Circle almost purely for the people and the atmosphere in the office. The interview process was really transparent and left me knowing exactly what to expect in the start of a career in recruitment, and everyone was welcoming from the minute I walked in.
